Disclosures

Disclosures.

The plain language version of what a registered adviser has to tell you, and what we would tell you anyway. Every paragraph on this page is placeholder language for a fictional firm.

This is a demo.

On Point Wealth is a fictional firm built by On Point Tech Solutions to show what a fee-only planning website can look like. The people, reviews, fees, registration details and this disclosure page are placeholders. Nothing on this site is investment, tax or legal advice and no adviser-client relationship is created by reading it or by using the form.

A real firm would replace this page with its Form ADV Part 2A and Part 2B, its privacy notice and its client relationship summary, reviewed by compliance counsel before publication. The headings below show where each piece belongs.

Compensation

On Point Wealth is compensated only by fees paid directly by clients. Planning fees are flat, agreed in writing before any work begins, and billed quarterly in advance. Investment management fees are a percentage of the assets we manage, billed quarterly in arrears, on the schedule published on the pricing page.

Neither the firm nor any person associated with it receives commissions, trailing fees, revenue sharing, referral fees, soft dollar benefits or any other compensation from a third party in connection with recommendations made to clients. No associated person is licensed to sell securities or insurance on a commission basis.

Conflicts of interest

Because management fees rise with the balance we manage, we have an incentive to recommend that you place assets under our management rather than, for example, pay down a mortgage or hold cash elsewhere. We address this by writing the plan before any management agreement, by charging the same planning fee whether or not you hire us for management, and by documenting the reasoning for any recommendation to add assets to a managed account.

Advisers at the firm invest their own money in the same funds recommended to clients. Personal trades in those funds are permitted and are reviewed quarterly by the firm's compliance officer.

Custody and registration

Where the money sits.

The firm does not take custody of client assets. Client accounts are held at an independent qualified custodian in the client's name. Clients receive statements directly from the custodian at least quarterly and are urged to compare them with any report we provide. The firm's authority is limited to trading within the agreed strategy and, where authorized in writing, to deducting its fee.

On Point Wealth would be registered as an investment adviser with the State of California. Registration does not imply a level of skill or training. A real firm's Form ADV would be available through the public adviser search and on request at no charge.

Testimonials

Client statements on the reviews page are placeholders. A real firm publishing testimonials must disclose whether the person is a current client, whether they were compensated, and any material conflicts, and must keep records supporting each statement.

Privacy

We collect the information you provide through the contact form to respond to your request. We do not sell personal information. A real firm would publish its full privacy notice here, including how non-public personal information is shared with the custodian and service providers.
